Well, 2019 has begun and now’s the time people have decided (or not) to set their intentions on a new beginning. Whether it’s to lose weight, get serious about dating, or make more money I’ve noticed that somewhere mid-year people completely forget what they had set up to do and fall back into the same rut they were in the previous year.

Hey, I’m not judging. I completely understand falling into ruts. But for some reason, 2018 was highly productive for me and I plan to take what I learned in 2018 and make a better 2019. So, it doesn’t matter if it’s a new year or a new moon I’ll explain why your intentions may fall flat.
1. Write it Down
More often than not when you ask people what their intention is for the year they have to sit there and think about it. It’s at that point, I know you haven’t taken the time to write down what you want. Like any master plan of world domination, you need to have some kind of outline or road map. Nothing serious really but like a Christmas list …for the year. Create that itemized list of things! Remember dream big or go home!
2. Visualization

Writing down what you want is a part of visualization but it’s not everything. Some people make no effort to add their imagination. After you’ve taken your list put it somewhere you can see every day. I suggest the bathroom mirror, fridge, or right by the toilet (just don’t flush it). When you see your list visualize what it’s like to actually have what you desire. Remember when we were kids and we used to play “make believe”? It seems a lot of adults have forgotten this art. If you want a relationship, imagine yourself in one and all the good and bad that would come with it (everything ain’t roses) but embrace that feeling of being …loved.
3. Speak it CORRECTLY
When it comes to manifesting your dreams into reality I’ve seen countless people say “I want this…I want that… I wish I had…” WRONG!
That is not how you manifest into reality. When the Universe is bestowing gifts it vibrates only in the NOW. Time is an illusion. If you dwell on the past the Universe will give you situations that re-create your past. If you constantly wish on the future, you’ll create situations of lack that will keep you wishing… in the future. So what’s the right answer? Speak in the now.

So the best way to verbalize what you want is to use the divine GOD PHRASE: I AM. In the Biblical Genesis, God doesn’t say “Gee, I wish there was light.” He says let there be light. You have to become what you want. Examples include: I am successful, I have a new job, I am someone’s boyfriend/girlfriend, I AM love. Whatever you want you must become it and that like energy will attract to you and you’ll start seeing the manifestation of your intention.
Warning: Opposite energy will attract to you too but …that’s another blog.

4. And…ACTION!
If you want a relationship, a job, or money and you haven’t got out of your apartment in days you’re pretty much killing all your intention. Your actions are the sunlight on the seeds of intention that you have planted. (Can’t grow a plant in the closet) Your visualization is the water, and your words are the air. The actual seeing your intention will represent the earth. But you first have to get out there and live. DO SOMETHING! When you see an opportunity, take it and see where it goes. Don’t allow yourself to be intimidated. Intimidation is merely fear of failure. But every winner has failed at some point and when you do learn from it and make yourself better. That improvement of yourself is getting you ready for what you really want!
5. Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day
Most importantly ( and I cannot stress this more) be patient. The larger your intention, the longer it may take as the universe aligns your life with the reality you desire (unless you’re trying to manifest a penny those can happen same-day). Things will change for you, sometimes drastically but go with the changes and see where the rabbit hole takes you. It can make the year quite interesting if you let it. You don’t have to work on your intentions every day but you should be doing something toward your goal every other day. You have to feed into it. If you don’t feed it with the proper elements then it won’t grow. So as a reminder:

- Water (Visualize)
- Air (Verbalize Present Tense)
- Sunlight-Fire (Action)
with create the EARTH (The physical thing you want to see)
Oh Yeah, WARNING:

Be careful what you wish for. Sometimes we want things we don’t need. The Universe has ways of teaching us hard lessons but in the end, you’ll figure out the right way. Good luck!
